We can tell our children that school is important until we’re blue in the face, they’re not stupid. They see the loudest applause is for the kids on the field. They know teachers are paid poorly and don’t drive fancy cars. They know people plan Super Bowl parties but mock the National Spelling Bee. In other words, they see the hypocrisy, and we can’t expect society to correct itself. If we want to have any lasting influence on the way our kids approach education — the way future generations approach education — then we have to grab our pom-poms and paint our faces and celebrate intellectual curiosity with the same vigor we do their athletic achievements.

There are a lot of long pauses on this song, and the whole tour the audience has managed to stay quiet. That is, up until last night in New York when someone decided to shout ‘I’m from New Hampshire!’. Please don’t be like that guy. I don’t care that you’re from New Hampshire.

I really love the entire band, and they play so well together. It looks like Marco will be playing with them after all so yeah. It may be the best show I ever witness.
And he is coming back through the UK I believe, tix are already on sale now for October!

Food is good and all that but YOU REALLY FUCKING NEED WATER. I always drink one glass of water before each meal and another glass right after. Shit, that’s almost all the water you need in a day.
Feeling tired? Got a headache? Nauseous? Fuck those Rx commercials with their crazy ass side effects, drinking more water is the cheapest way to feel better. I drink mine straight but if you’re fancy as fuck then toss in some lemon, mint leaves, lime, cucumber, lemongrass. I don’t give a good goddamn, JUST DRINK IT.
just because i happen to be researching it…. also don’t waste your money on bottled water. tap water is more regulated and is perfectly healthy.
